Transforming Public Education in Mizoram

The visionary Government of Mizoram is committed to transforming public education across the  state. The fact that the state has a 100% net enrollment rate with virtually all age-appropriate pupils nominally enrolled in schools  clearly demonstrates this commitment. Despite the government’s efforts, one in six pupils in the state cannot read a basic Standard II text even after completing primary schooling. To change this reality swiftly, the government needs a holistic, equity-focused, and technology-first solution that will deliver universal access to high-quality education.
